“I like grilled sausage.”
- Pavel Kovalski, creative strategist & art curator
It was 2011 when grilled sausage kicked off Pavel’s career in arts. He joined the team of TIFF Festival of Photography. His role was to make sure the visitors were happy and well-fed. He ordered loads of beer, fresh cut meat and many veggie options for the grill. Coincidentally, the bar was placed right next to the photobook section. Spending long hours there opened his mind to a whole new world. He realized he wanted to be a part of it and work on his own ideas. It didn’t take long for Pavel to become an art curator and a creative producer of large-scale international events.
“His expertise in the field of production and creativity has been of great help for me in the recent years. Pavel is a person with a lot of energy and a great appetite to learn more.”
- Erik Kessels, Creative Director KesselsKramer
“ The exhibition looked great, and was also educational. It was a pleasure to work with Pavel. His ideas were smart, communication was easy, and he’s also a really nice person.”
- Jason Fulford, J&L Books
“Sounds nice, but I still have no clue what he does.”
